The overall aim of this project was to jointly develop and transfer a management model which can provide an integrated strategy to enhance the valorisation and the preservation of cultural heritage as a vector of social and economic development in the countries involved in the Adrion area. This model allowed to go beyond traditional conservation activities, forcing the institutions involved to think about the protection and enhancement of archaeological areas in the planning and management of a wider territory.
